OPUS B 10W / SAE 20 / SAE 30 / SAE 40 / SAE 40 / 10W/30 / 10W/40 / 15W/40 / 20W/20 / 20W/30 Engine Oils, are a range of cost-effective low detergent automotive oils manufactured from quality refined base oils designed for all petrol engines, and naturally aspirated diesel engines.
Application
Opus B Range Oils are recommended for use in older classic and vintage cars, as well as commercial vehicles and tractors, where the older engine design prohibits the use of a modern multigrade oil with high additive levels.
Modern dispersant additives keep combustion chamber contaminants suspended in the engine oil, enabling full-flow cartridge filters to capture and remove them. In contrast, early oil filtration systems—typically using mesh gauze or strainers—are not efficient enough to filter out these suspended particles.
Opus B Oils, which are low-dispersant by design, allow these particles to settle harmlessly in the sump instead.
